With its extensive experience in the field of home care and independence, Présence Verte implements preventive measures to complement its remote assistance services.
Since 2017, it has been rolling out a disability and aging simulator for medical and social professionals and caregivers, whether professional or family members. This tool helps to better understand the psychomotor difficulties of seniors in order to better support them on a daily basis. To enhance this preventive offering, in 2026 we have designed a new immersive experience that is also accessible to the general public in order to raise awareness of the risk of falls and the usefulness of telecare in various areas.
In partnership with Présence Verte Côtes Normandes and the A.G.I.R. studio, we have developed two virtual reality experiences called"The Island of Autonomy"and"The Sentinels."
The Island of Autonomy is the first scenario, which aims to raise awareness among users about fall prevention. Ms. Colibri's daily life illustrates the stages of life, fragility, and solidarity, while promoting prevention, listening, and mutual aid. Telecare, a true ally in everyday life, is present... discreetly.
The second experiment,Les Sentinelles, opens up a world of possibilities. As we explore Soliville, we discover the various, sometimes unexpected, uses of telecare. Discreet and responsive monitoring for people of all ages, at home, out and about, and at work.
The use of virtual reality makes it possible to attract a very wide audience and to approach prevention topics that concern us all from a different perspective. The innovative and fun aspect has the advantage of facilitating awareness and discussion around topics that may seem heavy or difficult, without stereotypes or stigmatization.
This project was developed over several months, during which theA.G.I.R studio, which specializes in virtual reality experiences, worked with the teams at Présence Verte Côtes Normandes and Pays d'Ouest to understand the challenges and build these immersive experiences, similar to a "serious game." At the end of January, our prevention and development managers were able to discover and test these two scenarios during a preview session in Bruz.
These two experiences will be presented to the general public for the first time at theForum Seniors Bretagne, which will take place on March 13 and 14 at the Glaz Arena in Cesson-Sévigné, near Rennes.
